Woods

Unlike the other comment, my parents (now deceased) had been customers of Woods since 1957.I followed on and have personally been a customer since about 1963 albeit not as regularly as my parents were but "Woods" has always been the place for Fish and Chips. I visited today and I didn't recognise anyone serving, I therefore assumed it is under new ownership however, I certainly did recognise the quality of the fish and chips had not diminished so even if it is under new ownership, I will certainly still be going there and would recommend the place to anyone.

My family has been going to Woods for over 20 years.The owner Lily Woods has recently retired aged 89! We were unsure if the excellent quality would continue,well the good news is that it has! It is a super place(excuse the pun)!we go regularly,portions are generous.
