May daughter told me about this Fish and Chip shop. It is no surprise to me that it has won awards.The menu is extensive with burgers etc.I always get fish and chips there when I go to the area. .The service is excellent. The shop is always clean to the highest standard.These are the best fish and chips I have eaten in South London.The batter is crisp, the cod flaky and delicious.The chips are crisp.With the first bite I am instantly reminded of the fish and chips
of my childhood.

I have just had the nicest fish and chips that I've eaten in such a long time. This fish and chip shop has always been good, the staff are welcoming and make you smile, the food is always piping hot and it's a great experience. But tonight it was extra great, and the cod in particular was exquisite. Thank you.

I love this place. I come here when I want my belly full, before kick off or if it tickles my fancy. The workers are lovely, especially the lady who allows you to leave the shop with a smile of your face, without fail.
I'm a full time student and the prices are more than reasonable, especially for the quantities.
I'd recommend all to have their first bite as this plaice!

I have just had the best fish and chips I've ever had! The rock was cooked to order and was lovely and crispy and the chips freshly cooked with no sogginess!
It's a shame I've only recently discovered Mitcham's Plaice as I'm moving away from the area in a months time, so hoping I can find an equally supreme local fish n chip shop!

I went to a gourmet fish and chip restaurant and i have to say i came here a few days later and preferred it, the taste is top notch and the simplicity of it is what astonishes me! made my taste buds very happy :D and the owner and his workers are incredibly fun

If you like fish & chips you will love this plaice!! Food always tasty and served with a friendly smile.I usually order by phone to have my order freshly cooked and it is ready to collect in 15 mins. Great service!

Don't waste time going anywhere else...best fish and chips in town, freshly made, amazing flavour, generous portions, great staff! We go there almost weekly for our take out treat and it really is a treat as every single time the fish and chips are of such a high standard.

I think the fish & chips are the best you can ever find they are cooked freshly while you wait and the fish melts in your mouth. everyone should try mitchums plaice also the kebabs are tasty too.
