Daisychain Florist

Yesterday I ordered a same-day, bouquet of sympathy flowers for a friend and paid £35 (plus £5 charge) over the phone.

I received no message from the recipient and rang Daisy Chain at 11.15am today to check delivery. I was told, "The driver put them in a safe place and left a card through the door." She went on to say she would follow up with the driver and get back in touch. I received no call from her.

At 12.55pm my friend sent a thanks message for flowers that had been delivered to a neighbour, 50 doors away: I gave a clear address and postcode. I phoned Daisychain again and was told the driver had gone to the house and spoken to my friend's husband, who reported that the flowers had been retrieved from the 'safe place'. A complete lie.

This business took money for a sympathy gift of flowers, without responsibility or integrity for ensuring arrival at the correct destination. They then behaved dishonestly and washed their hands of the matter, all together. You have been warned.
