The White Wood Shop

The reason I gave this shop a 7 is that I have purchased several items from them, but it does take a lot of chasing up and can be quite frustrating. However here I am waiting for another order! They are lovely when you get them and as said before competitively priced so.....

As noted on other reviews, the service is slow and quite disorganised.

However if you are not in a rush the products are excellent quality and very good value for money. If you need bespoke furniture this is a great local place to get it, as long as you allow a couple of months for them to deliver.

We got a whole living room worth of wood furniture and although it took a while and a lot of chasing up to get it we have since gone back for more stuff in the knowledge that it will take a couple of months. I would muchg rather go somewhere local and unique like this for furniture than john lewis along with the rest of the population.

i found the owners very helpful,and more importantly very competitive in this current time.i have purchased various furniture since being reccomended to this establishment in 2004.

The owners seemed helpful and we discussed what we wanted and have been waiting for them to contact us regarding pices and when the work can be done. We have continuously chased them for over 3 weeks and have now decided to take our buiness else where.

A good-looking, clean, interesting shop to enter. (Interesting re snakes not immediately visible!) Pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable owners. On the downside, orders do have to be chased up a lot.Would be appreciated to be kept in picture re progress of order, especially when anticipated completion date has passed.
