I have always taken my cars to the dealership and paid extortionate prices for "piece of mind", but I always had problems and had to return to them a number of times. X-treem motors in Streatham were recommended by a friend when my car had engine issues and the dealer quoted a fix that was in the thousands. They were curtious, professional, knowledgeable and charged far less than the dealer, even though they used dealer parts. Brought our car in to have the brake shoes changed after my brother-in-law said they needed changing. The guys checked the brakes over and said they were fine, cleaned them up and sent me on my way. Clearly honest guys who won't rip you off.
