If you value your car, sanity and life avoid this garage.

I took my car in to have the turbo changed and they literally had no idea what they were doing.
They took out the old Turbo and damaged the new one that was put in, various nut/bots were taken out and never put back in, the heat shield for turbo was removed and not put them back in, car was left with an oil leak, black smoke was continuously coming out of exhaust, the shelves from under the car disappeared, the sensors in the car were damaged, gaskets missing from turbo to manifold and coolant from engine drained and not put back in. This caused the car to overheat and shut down… Also the car was left with scratches on the roof of the car and deep chips to the bumper as I believe it was parked elsewhere away from the garage.
My question is “why the manager would not make sure the car was fully fixed and working before handing it back to the customer……”
On several occasions I took the car back and spoke to the owner to rectify these issues but every time the car went back it performed worst and to be honest I don’t think he was interested. He had his payment and wasn’t concerned the job done was CRAP and fell well short of the standard you would expect from a company. I tried to speak to the manager on multiple occasions but he ignored my calls.
I took my car to another garage and because of all the damage caused by G1 AUTO CENTRE Mitcham, I had to pay out over £4000 to correct all their mistakes.
I can only go by what I experienced so I feel I should warn any potential customers that this might happen to them. Is it bad management or just the people employed just don’t know what they are doing ????
The garage had this car for months and I got it back in a worse state than I brought it in ..........
