I commissioned Asquith’s to replicate a signet ring with our family coat of arms, belonging to my father in law, as a present to my son on his 18th.
They were extremely helpful in finding the suitable ring and producing the design from just a simple photograph, as it was not possible to bring in the original itself.
Everything was done on time and they adjusted the size once my son received the ring, very efficiently.
I was recommended Asquith’s by a friend and have since recommended to many.
They are a good proper family jeweller you can trust and where you’ll find customer service is still on the menu!

Restringing
Undertaken by our resident expert, have your pearls and beads re-knotted, or why not update with a more modern clasp.
Stone Matching
We are able to find a replacement from our extensive stock of gemstones to ensure the best match in colour and cut. Our stone setters will reset the stone, checking all existing settings.
Valuations
Carried out by our resident valuer Nic Coles (Pj Dip Pj Gem Dip). The main emphasis of his work is carried at Asquiths of London or at the clients' home providing a safe, secure service. Valuations for insurance, probate and matrimonial purposes are available with charges based on a sliding scale depending on the valued price of your jewellery.

I lost a diamond from a ring . In Haselmere where I live I was quoted £240 to replace the stone . The ring was second hand and cost £250 , so I did nothing. It was given to me to mark my 25th year of teaching at Graveney school so was of huge sentimental value. As I come originally from Clapham Junction and was in my old haunts , I dropped into Asquiths and was quoted £40 for exactly the same job. I was delighted by the price and the quality of the work.

Very poor customer service. Today asked for a valuation and got a surly "what dya wan me ta do?" After reiterating my request I was told the valuer was too busy. I then had to ask if I could get an appointment for a valuation. After dramatic huffing and puffing I got a card and was told to email!

Asquith's has been providing an excellent service, with humour and efficiency for decades. They mend, engrave, sell jewellery and also lend money on items. A Father /son team who we can highly recommend.
