Got stuck in Leytonstone after I missed that last eastbound central line train, so crossed the street to the Goldline offices to order a cab home. Was told the fare, agreed and then was informed that the wait would be half an hour. Agreed to that too, and as my wait was going to be so long, stepped out into the street for a cigarette. I remained just outside the office, in full view of the staff throughout.
Upon returning to the office (after 5-6minutes tops) I was told that my cab had been cancelled as I had 'left the base', Staff were rude and aggressive and I was told that there 'was something wrong with me' for questioning this. I was also told to 'enjoy my walk.'
I have never left a negative review of anything on the internet before (life's too short, right?), but also have never been treated so abominably either.
