Whoever answers their phones is extremely rude, they need to sort themselves out

I booked a cab for my daughters after their concert finished at 11:30 from Alexandra palace. They went to the cab firm and the woman in the cab office said there was no taxi for them for another 2 hours. She then refused to put them in a taxi at all after they said they had already booked a cab. She swore at them and told them it wasn’t her problem to get them home, bearing in mind my daughters are 16!! I thought I could rely on this company as someone else promised me £45 back to Balham at 11:30!!! She then threatened to call the police on them and started being extremely horrible!! I am not pleased at all, you cannot rely on this company, the woman in that cab office then have them the wrong postcode to give another cab company as they had called a different one due to it being nearly 1’oclock now. Their driver could not get to them until nearly 3, The other cab company only charged them 30! I am disgusted with this company and certainly do not recommend them.

Unbelievably bad service. Quoted one price and driver upped the cost over 30% once we were seated and buckled in. He was incredibly rude and 30 minutes late. Never again.

I have been using this company for a few months now and so far all is good.
Most important they turn up when i want them.
Drivers are polite, cars clean and they know where they're going with their back routes and shortcuts.

I booked a mini cab from Alexandra Cars for 7.10am yesterday morning. I explained that I was taking my daughter to hospital for day surgery and it was really important that the driver wasn't late. THE MINI CAB NEVER ARRIVED. I phoned several times between 7.10am and 7.30am and was told each time that it was minutes away. In the end my husband drove us. By that time the traffic had built up, we were completely stressed, and arrived late. I am still waiting for a proper apology. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Alexandra cars is the first company in the area which I can recommend. I have used them end of August and mid September and I was very pleased. From the first moment when I was booking the car over the phone they seems nice, asked me about the child age to bring a right child car-seat and then it got only better and better. The driver was on time helped us with the luggage and was taking good care of us. On the way back we had an airport pick-up and again we were nicely surprised. All went very smoothly, we were in very good hands of Albert who took care of our luggage and drove us safely hom

DON'T use them, HORRIBLE people, TERRIBLE service
I used them on the 18th of December 2011 and they charged me £37
I used them on the 23rd of December (same driver came in) they charged me £35
the driver came 10 minutes early today, it was booked for 5am, he was calling me at the door by 4.50am
at the end , he wanted to charge me for 15 minutes waiting time
this specific driver, talks too much, out of his mind, and it appears that he got a good relationship with the controller and is given all the airport jobs.
when i said i cannot my wallet, he said '' you could not find your keys last time, you always lost something, what is this?''
he remember i could not find my keys last time but he did not remember he charged me differently last time
DON'T use them, there are many mini cab offices around

I have used their services a few times and i have found the drivers firendly. They know what they are doing and are very reasonable in prices. Although one of the drivers that once picked me up was not very fluent in english he did know where he was going. I am very happy with the service provided. The person behind the telephone is also very friendly. I have used other cab offices around north london but they are just not as punctual as these guys. All the best to them.

P.S. they take good care of my mother.
