Excellent friendly salon. Run by Kim and Lee who know the names of all their regulars, give you tea or coffee and always fit you in, even if they were about to close

By far the best nail salon. Quick, efficient, precise and long lasting acrylics. The technicians are perfectionists and they always make a good coffee! More importantly my nails last for weeks.

This salon is a family run business & I have had my nails & waxing done on numerous occasions & have NEVER had a bad experience!
None of the family are English so it is not their first language so it is difficult for them to sit & have a full on chat with you (& unreasonable to expect them to be able to). The older gentleman is the most chatty with good English & he always makes sure you have a cup of tea or coffee, and offers a top up when you finish!
The salon is basic but clean & tidy & they fit you in at short notice even when it is close to closing time.
I'd always recommend them.

I have been going here since January and have only positive things to say. The workers there aren't overly chatty but they get the job done quickly and well. I've meet had any of my acrylics fall off or the varnish chip, there's often little to no wait to be seen and their prices are more than reasonable.

I feel compelled to write to provide a more balanced review on this site since the only review currently is a bad one.

I have been going to Tips & Toes for nearly 5 years now and am always satisfied with the service and quality of product at this nail salon. The interior isn't plush, but I don't go to sit in a nice space for 1 hour a month, I go because I know that I will get painted toes and infill’s which will last me between 3-4 weeks without any chipping (both the nails and the polish) at a reasonable cost.

The owners are friendly and I have recommended the salon to my friends.

I would not recommend to a friend.

Unprofessional is not the word.

Ok,so your nails get done. However, it is just hard luck for us customers if you are not happy afterwards you must still pay and you have to live with it..... that's until they drop off, which they will.... after a few days or so. Expect a recharge if you go back in to get it fixed with some not so nice Vietnamese comments from the owners themselves.

If you are looking for a natter with the nail girl while having your acrylics filled then it can not be found here. The place is run like a sweat shop and any customer care provisions go out of the window once the paint has dried.

Overall poor quality and poor service.
