This Optician is different class.
Designer specs made in 1 hour, think I saved about £100 over last place I visited, just couldn't believe it.

Friendly and great service, my whole family have used this optician for 15 years. They have all the designer
names at low prices and made my specs in 30 minutes.

I should've gone elsewhere!
I went to Optical World Leyton as I had an Eyecare Plan voucher, and this was the closest optician to me that accepted it(when I started). I was told my glasses would be ready in 1 week, I chased them after 2 weeks, 4 weeks, they said they were still waiting, didn't know why. Eventually Eyecare Plans emailed me asking why I hadn't used the voucher. I explained, and I think them chasing Optical World prompted them to realise they hadn't sent the form off! I was waiting so long I had moved by the time the glasses were ready. And then they were the wrong frames!

When we make glasses with stock frames and lenses, we make them typically within one hour and special orders take up to a week.
This is an eye care plan patient, where spectacles are ordered on line on the same day we see the patient.
We are contracted to send the order on to the supplier and therefore rely on them to efficiently deal with the order and dispatch asap. (They do not allow us to make the spectacles our self-because they have the supply contract with the patients' employer.)
The plan allows a restricted range of frames and lenses-often the patient cannot have what they want in terms of frame and lenses because the employer will pay the required extra fee.
The supply of this order is not part of the core activities of this practice whereby 90% of orders are supplied same day.
It is unreasonable to post this review without contacting my practice first and secondly investigating the reason for the supply delay.

Have been visiting Optical World for the past 12 Years now, and i don't think the service offered by this opticians can be matched!
I would recommend anyone to go there and see what they're missing.

This opticians is amazing, great services and kind staff who will see you within 5-10 minutes wait. I've been a customer for many years now and till today i am stillloving the services. Would advice anyone in London to go to this opticians. They provide you with full services and information you require to know :D
