I’m disgusted, I placed my first order on 25th June ‘22, I was pleased with the outcome and placed a 2nd order on 4th July,
I was not happy, I ordered 3 items (Welsh Cowboy hats),
I received 1Welsh and 2 Irish hats, I phoned Carnival Store and spoke to Stefani, she assured me that I would have a full refund including postage as soon as she received the items back, I promptly returned the wrong items by recorded delivery on 9th July, the Carnival Store refused to accept the items back, the post office returned them to me on Saturday 13th August stating reason for return to me ‘refused’, the hats were in the original packaging which was undamaged so no reason for them to refuse delivery. I phoned them on Saturday 13th August, Stefani is not available. I phoned them again this morning (15th August) going straight to answer phone. It seems they are very quick to take your money but very reluctant to give refunds, I’ll be reporting them to Trading Standards.
Carnival Store specialise in a range of party goods including fancy dress and costume hire, make-up, wigs and face masks. They stock Star Wars, Star Trek and Dracula costumes.
