Unfortunately we cannot recommend TDH Media after having them film our wedding video and if anyone is thinking of choosing TDH Media for their wedding we’d suggest reading this review very carefully along with the images we’ve posted so you can understand what a shambolic service we’ve received from start-to-finish - and over a 5 month period!

The company owner filmed our wedding so we thought the overall quality would be great. However, it was anything but great and therefore we are complaining publicly for the following reasons

1) TDH Media completely missed the Grooms reaction to Bride walking down the aisle. We are so incredibly disappointed about this as Terry promised that he would capture this moment for us.

2) Various parts of ceremony filmed with a tree branch covering Grooms face. We did question these huge omissions and were simply told “no footage available”. TDH Media have never acknowledged these first 2 mistakes or offered an apology! In fact, we have been totally and utterly ignored on these points!

3) The brides walk down the aisle was also filmed at such a distance it wasn’t what we expected at all. We even received an email to our complaint on this matter from [him] stating that the footage went “out of focus” – which is interesting considering the footage was filmed purely on tripods. Is that what you expect from a “professional” company…?

4) Every change we requested resulted in other parts of the video being changed without our knowledge. This caused hours of wasted time watching and re-watching different versions trying to spot what had been changed.

5) We were continually sent versions of our wedding film that contained huge issues that go beyond the scope of normal edits or changes requested by a customer such as the audio being totally out of sync, shaky camera work, choppy transitions and even one version with a complete loss of audio during one part! As a customer, we should not have to proof the video just because TDH Media are too lazy to do it themselves!

6) Took almost 4 months to get to a version of our wedding film we could (reluctantly) accept.

7) TDH Media then sent the WRONG version of our wedding film on DVD & Bluray to us.

8) Then TDH Media did not initially sent the agreed 5 copies of our wedding film. We had to provide evidence of their brochure to show that we should be receiving 5 copies in the package we paid for.

9) We did not initially get a short highlights video as promised on initial pre-sales phone call. Eventually TDH Media did provide this as a gesture of “goodwill”. However the highlights video was promised to us in the beginning so it’s definitely not a gesture of goodwill.

10) When we finally did receive the correct version of our wedding film and the 5 agreed copies, the quality was significantly poorer than the previous set of DVD / Bluray films and also poorer quality than the version on Vimeo. We provided evidence of this and decided to create the physical DVD / Bluray media ourselves using the downloaded version of our film from Vimeo as, by this stage, we had lost all faith in TDH Media ever being able to get anything right. Interestingly, the versions I created did not suffer from quality issues…

11) TDH Media have stated they are technically unable to add a Title Menu on our DVD. However, because I had no choice but to recreate the DVD due to quality issues mentioned I was able to put a Title Menu on a DVD very easily!

We have communicated all these issues with [the owner] but, apart from the lack of communication, he believes he has "oversupplied" to us. We'll let our image evidence speak for itself on this point!

This entire experience has taken away the shine and excitement of our wedding video to the point it became a chore for us because we were having to proof their work and constantly finding errors in the videos provided to us.

Ultimately it was a huge mistake in choosing TDH Media. They have not provided a professional or quality service at all. In fact, they were the only supplier on the day of our wedding who really let us down.
