Is a nice place with a lot of Italian atmosphere> I do not understand the negative comments I read, may be from jealous people? You have good food and nice service, so go there foer your Christmas cakes.

Been going to La Rocca since it opened and I love this place! Everything is fresh and tasty, I always get a warm welcome. I have bought trays of cakes for parties as well as ordering birthday cakes and everyone has always asked me where I got them from. It's like having a little slice of Italy in Winchmore Hill!

Lovely, friendly service and delicious food too! The Aranginis are so tasty and the desserts are out of this world. The gelato is amazing - creamy unlike some watery ice creams. I've been a regular customer since La Rocca opened and thoroughly enjoy coming here. I have ordered birthday cakes over the years too and have never been dissapointed. Produce is always fresh and I am always treated like one of the family.

Went to this Italian cafeteria/ice cream parlor several times over the past few years. The decor is very promising and reminded us over our fond memories of holiday in Tuscany. Each time the food disappointed although the service was often slow. We popped in today for lunch with my disabled mother and we found that the WC was very inaccessible. But we found the service is worsening as milk provided with our tea was turning and I could not drink the tea when I raised the matter the waitress took the milk left the tea and did not offer a replacement or apology. When raised again we were insulted

I come here for the cannolis and fresh fruit tarts, they are delicious! They don't take card payments which is a shame. Everything looks very fresh and tempting.

I was passing by and popped in a couple of months back.
I must say It's a nice place.
You get a simple, straightforward service which some might find cold but it doesn't bother me.
The service doesn't run like clockwork but that's not a problem unless you're a robot running to a mad work-schedule.
The home baked cakes and biscuits are delicious.
Since I've made it a regular stop off and take a few minutes to be polite and chat, I've found the staff to be real characters, and sociable at that once you get to know them.
My kind of place.

I visited this cafe and spent a fair bit of money. There was 5 of us having breakfast and the food arrived 10-15 mins apart so my husband and I had finished before our friends have even got their food. I went in last week to buy a selection of biscuits as I live a few mins walk away and was treated so rudely by one of the assistants I was astounded. I mentioned this to the assistant who the rude woman passed me to and she shrugged her shoulder seemingly resigned to the fact that this assistant has such a poor attitude. Terrible service, overpriced food and an awful staff member who I actually suspect is the owner which is even worse! Would have scored 0 if I could have.
Have your say
