Church Street Bookshop

This is my favourite bookshop. It is an unexpected treasure trove of literary gems, hard to find books, and new releases at ridiculously cheap prices.

I’ve been buying books from this bookshop for more than fifteen years. I still remember the first time I stepped foot into the bookshop, the booksellers were extremely knowledgeable (and still are) about every genre and topic of literature. Their love of the written word of evident in the way they assist customers with queries. I am forever grateful to the booksellers for introducing me to the works of Zora Neale Hurston.

I can’t recommen them highly enough.

Wonderful place to visit on a Sunday, small and friendly and full of secondhand books you actually want to buy. Have found a few extraordinary bargains in here over the years.

Excellent bookshop! So quiet and peaceful with an amazing choice of books. Go there as soon as I need a new read. Amazing prices and great service too!!!
