Hoxton Shoe Repairs

My Birkenstocks were falling apart with disintegrating cork soles and rusty buckles after I’d stupidly got them wet when swimming in the summer. Too bad even for a charity shop, I was going to chuck them away but these guys repaired them so they are good for a couple more summers. Very happy to wait a week and pay £25 for such excellent advice and service. I love their responses to customers’ comments - a word of warning never be a cheapskate when getting your girlfriend’s handbag repaired and then complain about it.

Worst customer service experience ever. The manager completely botched my shoes, put heels on flat-soled shoes (!) and handed back my watch with the strap still broken. Out of four items, they only managed to fix the battery on one watch, and it took them a month to get it back to me. The manager was unbelievable, so unwilling to accept he made a mistake he actually called me at work and was verbally abusive, then was abusive to me again when I called in to collect my shoes! The owner Nick eventually took control and fixed my shoes, he promised a full refund but in the end decided not to give it to me. He said he is a man of his word, but apparently he’s not. Unreal, super stressful experience and seriously unprofessional. Plenty of places in London to take your shoes so save yourself the hassle and shabby workmanship and take them to a professional service.

Contacted Hoxtons ref a repair to my daughters Louboutin shoes. Paul sent a response within a couple of hours. Travelled from SE London but was not disappointed. I was told exactly how they would repair the shoe and given a price. The two guys were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Received a text to say the shoes were ready and met by another equally friendly member of staff. Absolutely delighted with the repair - my daughter was 'over the moon'. This shop is a 'gem', despite the journey it is worth the travel. I will certainly be recommending Hoxton's to my friends. I wish every shop gave the same level of service.

Tim did a fantastic job with my favourite shoes (other shoe repairers thought they were a right off!!!). He managed to bring my dead shoes back to life. Great job - I'll be back

At last the cobblers I have been looking for! Thank you for repairing the stitching on my boots. Not only they look great but you also had them ready three days earlier. And you repaired my handbag on the spot. I will certainly be coming back.

What a great little find! I took in my favourite pair of brown suade boots which were, frankly, knackered. My wife subsequently collected a pair of revamped and revitalised boots that are as good as new. The quality of the replacement soles and heels on my boots was exceptional. A pair of brouges were fitted with blakies toe and heel. The wife was so impressed she'll be taking in three pairs of her boots for the good as new treatment. Thoroughly recommended!

I used Hoxton Shoe Repairs for refurbishment work on two of my favourite loafers. As a shoe aficionado, I can tell you Jamie knowledgeable about shoes and give the best advise on what he thinks you should do to make your shoes look perfect. He did a complete refurb, all by hand of my loafers. His work was so good, I immediately gave him back the other half do some more specialist work to because only he understood what I wanted done. I did this because I was impressed with the first work.
I will always continue to use these guy because they are excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks

Jamie at hoxton shoe repairs is a true Gent, he advised me what the best thing for my gucci's and told me what the best thing to do to make them look amazing and as good as new as they do. I thought at first the price was a little steep but for what i paid for and what I got for my money was really and truly worth it. He made my 10 year old Gucci loafers look like they had just come out of the shop. Like really... Unbelievable , well believe me he worked his magic and I am so very happy with the end result. The kind folks here just turned around my urgent shoe repair within no time at all. £13 didn't feel like enough, so I'm writing this review!

Lovely guys - not like the grumpy Old Street tube lot.

Really good quality boot repair - told the work is guaranteed too, and he even went above and beyond by colouring the rest of my sole to match the heel that'd been replaced.

Great price and even got a text to say when my boots were ready to collect!

Very happy with this place, and will definitely be going back with poorly shoes.
