I had leather soles fixed. It was 45 pounds and it took 2 weeks but the result is worth every penny. The shoes were also polished and the scratches on the burgundy leather were fixed. Highly recommended!

A traditional know how fast disappearing in London, a down to earth shop thanks to his cobbler who is a highly knowledgeable and passionate artisan. I am walking much steadier these days downtown or in Hampstead Heath, thanks to his magical shoe skills and integrity. Not the cheapest shoe repair but that is because the repair is of quality. If you care for your shoes, I highly recommend this cobbler. Leyton needs only talented people and shops such as this one.

One of the last true authentic cobbler's left in London. He knows his profession to the highest. Even to the point that he may talk you're ear off about it. But you come out not just with a professional quality of repair but with an invaluable amount of knowledge that will in form how to buy quality shoes because you will be able to see which ones are made to a good quality and hence value for money you when buying shoes.

Unfortunately my experience at this cobblers was completely different. I left several pairs of shoes here for over 6 weeks but when I returned to collect, they were stuffed in a bag, still not repaired!
When I took the shoes in I was delighted that the cobbler took time to inspect them & explain what he'd do. When I returned I was made to feel embarrassed that I 'trashed' my shoes & was given back my money with barely a word. It was utterly bizarre!
Another Leytonstone repairers is doing 2 pairs with no fuss by the end of today. I wish I had taken them there first and avoided wasting my

It's difficult to improve on the preceding comments. But how does one improve on perfection? I've been taking my shoes to Daniel for the last 11 years and have never had cause to complain. He's also made me a belt and repaired various bags and zips, always with enthusiasm and the commitment of a genuine craftsman. In my student days, I worked for a saddler so I know a little about leather and craft. It's from my informed position that I make these comments.

Quite simply, the best.

AFantastic service and excellent repair work carried out on all the boots and shoes I have taken there over the past three years. He is knowledgable and friendly. A wonderful place to have on your doorstep. If I ever move away I will definitely come back to go to the cobblers in Leyton!

Last-of-a-kind place, will repair anything, will do it properly, knows what he's doing and takes pride in it. Will always explain to you exactly what needs doing and why it costs what it costs. Has all the necessary bits and pieces and know how to use them.
Lovely guy, amazing shop, refreshing change to everything being shiny and corporate! Resoled my Oliver Sweeny boots about 5 times.
Great to see he is still in business.
