very good calm advice in a difficult property purchase

We went with Ewings on the recommendation of a friend when trying to buy our first flat. They were ineffective and uncommunicative. Could offer no advice when asked during a difficult transaction - our first. Actually shouted at me on the phone when asked why they had taken no action after being instructed two weeks earlier. Finally, our solicitor went on holiday the week we were going to complete without informing us - we couldn't reach anyone in the office for three days. We lost the property.
