Tesco Metro

This is a great little shop which get really busy. The service is getting much better, mainly down to one or two new faces being introduced. Tesco should invest a bit of money in it though it looks tired. It is a real part of the community, unlike the shop next door with a dead rat in the window

This is true. I've been in here numerous times, and when it comes to paying the staff don't even tell me the balance, I have to look for myself, they won't say thank you, bye or anything the least bit polite. This goes for the iceland too.

This is perhaps one of the least pleasant Tesco stores in Britain. The shelves are invariably empty, the staff unhelpful and often downright rude. They don't have a section for chilled beer and wine. But the thing that riles me most of all is when you get to the check out. Only a few of the tills are ever open and there are lines 7 or 8 people deep. Why can they not hire more staff and offer better customer service?
