I went shopping on Friday 5th November 2021. After shopping in Tesco, Marks. I then went to Sainsburys I had the bags in my trolley I did my shopping. And I put my shopping on the conveyor belt. The shopping I did before remained in the trolley. The cashier asked me if the shopping in my bags belong to Sainsburys. I ignored her at first. But I got angry. I said is she saying I am stealing from Sainsburys. She replied that it is her job to report me. She then called security. I left the shopping and walk off. I went through the security gates and the security wanted to s arch my bag: There was a pkt of 6 crisps on top of my shopping. Which clearly had marks. One of the security said that they sell marks crisps also. I refused them entry to my bags. And encouraged them to call the police. And also I would be taking legal action. They left me alone then. I felt embarrassed being treated like a criminal. I will never go back to Sainsburys. As a black woman in her 60’s seemed I am a suspect. I have been shopping in that branch for over 10 years.

Although customers visiting the Sainsbury at Streatham Common have to wear face coverings , it seems the shop floor staff do not have to abide by the same rules. Cashiers excepting, should staff have to wear masks covering mouth and nose, and not half mast or not at all. DISGRACEFUL
