Absolutely amazing service, I needed my skirt to be shortened and the work quality afterwards was incredible.

This company does not employ skilled people able to do the basic when it comes to alteration. You might as well have ago yourself, you'd probably do a better job, even with your eyes closed....AVOID AVOID AVOID

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS VERY EXPENSIVE AND VERY POOR SERVICE!!
I took a leather jacket for renovation as it had a small rip in the sleeve and an internal pocket faulty zip. I Was told after repair it would look like new and would be ready in 2 weeks. I then asked if he required a deposit, he answered no we require full payment! I stupidly paid £240 and was given a credit card receipt with a hand written note saying call back in two weeks. They were totally disorganized as was given a number to identify the item left with them. I called back after 2 weeks which was difficult as Fadi Tailoring shops are not open all day. Also, you call the mobile number and the landline number and both are unobtainable. I was worried that they gone bust! The next day I did get through to them and was told the jacket was not ready yet and should call back next week. A week later I called them again had problems getting through as both lines rang then cut off. On finally speaking to a someone on Monday I was told the Jacket would be ready to pick up at 11am on the Friday. I called on the Friday at 9am to check all was OK for pickup. The phone initially was dead however at about 10.30am a girl picked up saying she would call the boss and would call me back. At 11.30 as I had, had no return call i called again and this time spoke to the boss who was rude he said why do you keep calling. I said to check if the Jacket is ready to pick up as I am disabled with Progressive MS can’t walk and do not want to drive to Walton on the hill to find it’s a wasted visit. He then said the jacket is not ready as it need the lining replacing which has not been done. He stated I should call back next week. when it should be ready. I was confused as no-one had mentioned that the lining of the jacket was going to be replaced. On Wednesday next week I again called and arranged to pick my Jacket up on Friday at 11am. On Friday I called at 9.15am and was told 12pm would be better for him as he was not at the shop. I turned up at 11.55am on Friday 5 WEEKS!! after leaving the jacket with Fadi Tailoring. I took my sister with me! The shop had the closed sign up my sister knocked on the door then got back in the car as it was now snowing. Another lady turned up saying she was told pick up at 12pm like me. She walked off as it was snowing and raining. At 12.15pm a van turned up and the shop was opened up my sister went in I stayed in the car. He took my receipt off her and gave her the leather jacket which she brought outside for me to check. She said he had taken my receipt I told her to go and get it back as my only proof. I then noted the rip repair had seemingly been glued and was not repaired to my satisfaction. My sister took it back in and asked him to sort it out then and there! He sprayed it with some sealer and we the left feeling very unhappy with the poor service. On returning home i noticed that zip on the inside pocked had been repaired however the pull tag was missing! In conclusion I will never use Fadi tailoring again! He promises good service, will look like new, charges a large sum of money (£240 all paid in advance) then gives very poor service and is totally rude and uncaring. After all he has your money and your good so has no incentive to deliver a good service or on time! WILL NEVER USE AGAIN VERY BAD SERVICE.

I took a fur coat for an alteration on the 7th of August 2021 and paid £540 in advance to take in the sides and lengthen the sleeves.[He] told me that it was going to take 1 to 4 weeks, and that I would have a fitting before it was finished. A month later the fur coat is still not ready for a fitting. The time for the fitting cannot be confirmed as [he] has “to go away and other things to do”.
When I insisted that the completion was late and I needed the alteration expedited, he spoke to me very rudely. He said “I take as long as I want to take”. He denied that he agreed a completion time, and when I pointed out that it had been written on the receipt he said “It doesn’t matter what I write, I do what I want to do”.
I told him that the way he was speaking to me was entirely inappropriate and very rude, he said “I speak to you how I want to speak to you”. He also insisted that his job was to speak and my job was “shut up and listen”. He is not answering the phone, I have lost the fur coat itself and the £540 I paid for the alteration.
Please avoid this person. He is civil to you until you pay the money, and then Mr Hyde comes out.
