Positives: jackets and coat were fixed fine, prices are decent, haggling is tolerated, work is quick. Negatives: First time customer - took in several trousers for simple alterations. Four pairs of trousers had to be reworked due to mistaken measurements or original work simply not being done at all. Advice: owner won't write any details of what you want down, has poor english and is very brusque, grumpy and argumentative. So, be sure to hand over clear written instructions/measurements for what you want done and double check all repairs against them. Don't expect any kind of civil service!

This place is old school. Not quite sure I'd trust him with my suits but as for everything else (jeans etc.) definitely. I've been many times and never had anything but a great pair of trousers back.

Been using Gold star for years, always has a quick turnaround, they also do made to order trouser, pick the fabric you want, he'll measure you up. Great for all my suit alterations.
