Golden Jade

I eat from here fairly regularly and I usually (all but once) enjoy the food. Like some of the other reviews said, the food is not as greasy as it can be from other Chinese take aways and I always find that the dishes are fresh and hot.

Reading some of the reviews I was a little nervous about going here.

The Golden Jade has just been taken over by a new management, and they've cleaned it up a lot.

I went in on their first night and again a week later. The food was lovely, really clean and fresh, I would definitely recommend eating here.

I eat chinese on a regular basis and I have to say that the Golden Jade must have a low standard's of the food which they are preparing; the food arrived 15 minutes late, it was still hot none the less. But the food that i had ordered had an unusual taste, then was not only on my food but also on the members of my family, we ordered Spare-Ribs, Prawn Crackers, 1/2 automatic crispy duck, prawn balls as well as 2 large pieces of cod and a bag of chips, which was all of unusual taste.

As an avid chinese eater I highly recommend Golden Jade - there food is not 'greasy' as I have ound many chinese take aways previously. Their BBQ sauce is amazing, crispy chilli beef is a must!
