This place is "brilliant!" We had no cash money, only credit cards, and the staff not only directed us to the closest cash machine, but let us go with samples of their wares, which are, quite simply, sumptuous.
Upon returning with the requisite amount of cash, we tried lamb kebabs and a chicken "donner"--everything loaded with all of the trimmings, i.e., tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, sauces, etc. For about 10-12 quid we were stuffed to the gills.
Racing back to London after a few short days in Scotland, we were alarmed to find precious few eating establishments open at 1 am in Belgravia. Had we only known that Capital Kebab House stays open until 3 am!
The very next day we hopped of the Big Bus tour at the aquarium and hoofed it back over to CKH. This time, we had the same thing but not only ate in, but also tried the lassie, which is some type of Turkish salted yogurt drink. Wow!
Listen, the food was fantastic, the staff was polite and accomodating, and the very next time we are in London--we are back in the states now--Capital Kebab House will be the first place we stop to sup. For real, mates!
