Being a regular customer, I grew to be very friendly with the owner. He is usually the cashier and handles orders flawlessly. However, today he wasn't in and one of his workers took over the role. Having been there for 5 years and 2 weeks (the time they opened) I of course knew all the prices and deals they did (including when there is a price change). Yet today, I went in as usual and ordered a custom deal within the boundaries of the prices set by the owner but the current worker said to me I'm pulling prices out my ass and that I was a lunatic. Seriously? That's how you treat someone who's been supporting your small business for that long? I tried my best to be as nice as possible considering my respect for the owner and I knew if he was the cashier today, he'd understand my order and execute it perfectly (as he has previously) but the current new cashier kept dismissing me while I was trying to explain how these are the shop's prices, not mine and how I've ordered this exact thing before with the owner. The utter disrespect he showed his loyal customers. He even proceeded to change the price of 2 wings and chips to be the same as 3 wings and chips and then returning them back to the original set prices, like what? Now you're just bluntly altering the prices in front of me to make me leave. I was forced to change my order and leave the store confused at what just happened. I'm now not sure whether I should order from this shop any longer if I am to be treated this way.
