Ho Lok

After so many bad experiences with Chinese restaurants (not this one) I stopped ordering and haven't for nearly 5 years but today I really wanted to have a chinese. I saw Ho Lok on Uber eats, liked the menu & thought sod it, I'll give here a try!! BEST DECISION I've made in a while. Staff were polite & accommodating over the phone, order notes followed perfectly, delivery driver polite, professional & friendly AND THE FOOD, the food was absolutely beautiful. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, well more than amazing. It was hot & you could tell with every mouthful it was fresh. I literally do not have one single thing to complain about. I'm so happy I've now found a Chinese takeaway that I can use & enjoy. Thank you all at Ho Lok... If you can't tell I will be 1000% ordering from you again

I've gotta say, this place does the best spring rolls I have ever had in my life. It's not the best chinese take away in the world but for a night out with friends it's perfect. The wait isn't too long for the food and everything else I've had there tastes great. :)

i actually thought i had found a good chinese takeaway to deliver my orders until they got my house special fried rice wrong which i called to let them know that the house special fried rice i have always orderded comes with pork,chicken and prawns but they insisted that it wasnt called house special fried that it was special fried rice so i eneded up putting the food in the bin,next order they got it wrong,the spare ribs was burnt and dry which wasnt the perking spare ribs i ordered...i called to complain and told the lady that i guess i would find another takeaway she rudely reply yes thats fine and hung the call on me....disgusting service,first when i called she lied that the manager wasnt around and that he was going to call me back.i did not get any call then next she said she is the manager..the food aint great and they always get the order wrong..i would not recommend anyone to order from them.
