Xin Long

I have been ordering from xin long for almost four years. They sell the best Chinese food in east London by far. In addition to this the customer service provided is excellent from ordering your food to recieving it. I have had a mix up with an order once before which was rectified within twenty minutes along with an extra as an apology for the inconvenience. Lastly I would like to add that I have personally collected from the store several times and found their hygiene standard impeccable. I have, and continue to recommend Xin Long.

I started ordering from Xin Long last year as I wanted to try a new takeaway and they are excellent. Delivery takes a maximum of 40 mins to come and it is always fresh. The lady on the phone is welcoming when she answers and they have never got my order wrong yet !

We ordered over the phone. They told us 30-45 mins. The food turned up 1 hour later and cold. They got the order wrong. We had rice and wings missing so we phoned back. The girl apologized and said she would send them immediately on the driver's return. Half an hour later there was a knock. It was the rice but no wings. We phoned again despite our meal being already ruined. A different girl answered and said the other girl who took our order had left. She then refused to accept that our initial order included wings at all! She said if we wanted wings we would have to pay for them again! She was very rude and had no telephone manners to speak of. The manager and remaining staff cannot speak English so when I tried to complain to the manager, I may as well have been talking to a brick wall. This place is run badly with very poor service standards and a dishonest attitude - STEER CLEAR is my advice. (We even tipped the driver- stupid us!)
