I don’t usually write reviews; however I feel obliged to share my story in this instance to serve as a precautionary tale for anyone thinking of using Black Line Tattoos services.

The tattoo artist turned up an hour and twenty minutes late resulting in the whole process feeling very rushed. The result is a tattoo of poor quality, with the simple image outline that I provided not accurately copied.

The tattoo was completed in approximately ten minutes, and I was charged £80. Being my first tattoo, I cannot help but feel they simply capitalised on my naivety.

I have been using black line tattoo for the last 6 years for piercings and tattoo. The girl who does the piercings is great and gives you great advice when you cant decide on what piercing you want. I have had 2 tattoos by 2 different guys and they were both great. My last tattoo was done by Rosanna who did a great job and came up with a really nice design for me. would recommend a very clean studio.

The move around the corner was great because the place is bigger and cleaner, but still as pretentious as can be, but I guess most things in Brixton are like that now. I popped in to look at some of the artist's portfolios and was told "That we aren't a costume shop, you don't just pick something off the wall." No idea where the attitude came from. Certainly didn't pick my 4 other custom pieces "off the wall".

Would not recommend even a look

I went here at the end of the summer for a nose piercing, without an appointment but the girl (sorry to not have her name) just asked me to come back in 30 mins so she'd be able to sterilise the materials. It was quick and she was funny and lovely, and it's now almost perfectly healed with no problems (5 weeks later). She didn't give me a WHOLE lot of detail about cleaning but gave me the essential advice and I got the feeling that if I was confused she'd tell me more. (I knew what to do having had a few other piercings)

I wanted to have a nice tattoo so I was looking around London for a nice place to make it and I found out there was The Black line in Brixton so I just came in and there was a tattoo artist called Rosanna who adviced me about the changes i should do to my design if I wanted to make it Better. I just followed her advices an i have got an amazing result!! Thanks Rosanna for your service and ur friendly manners. I will be back!!!

I first went to The Black Line almost 3 years ago when i decided to get a tattoo for my birthday.
The shop itself is lovely with gorgeous art work on the wall. The staff were very helpful.
A guest tattoo artist called Simone did my tattoo for me and i left feeling extremely satisfied.

I returned yesterday to get another tattoo and once again i enjoyed getting my ink thoroughly.
Rosanna done it for me; she is bubbly, friendly and an amazing artist.

I will definitely return again! :)
