Camden Locks Hair & Beauty Ltd., based in the heart of Camden Town, London, was established by Marlene, originally from Trinidad and Tobago, who moved to London with hopes of building a life where she could enjoy going to work each day. 25 years later, this family business has been successful in gaining and maintaining a large eclectic clientele, where no two days are ever the same.

Over the last 25 years we’ve been able to develop our skills and expertise with both European and Afro hair of all textures, and we are pleased to offer our clients a large range of treatments and services including, creating and maintaining dreadlocks by our experienced loctician, all other hair salon treatments, as well as tattoos and piercings.

At Camden Locks many of our clients have been recommended on a word-of-mouth basis, and we are pleased to note the positive feedback we’ve received on making them feel at ease and comfortable in a sometimes daunting situation. We are well aware that many of you have unfortunately had negative experiences whilst at the hair salon, where perhaps you went in for a trim and left with a lot less hair than you’d hoped due to a scissor-happy hairdresser, or you went to have your dreadlocks interlocked and left with damaged, weakened roots, due to an inexperienced heavy-handed loctician.
