This shop is not only very expensive but the service is dismal and very very unreliable. We were guaranteed delivery on time for a wedding outfit that was not fulfilled. The shop did not make ANY effort to contact us but instead we were calling everyday to find out what was happening to the outfits and each day there was a different excuse. In addition, there was absolutely no humility, instead we received a torrent of text messages that were rude and full of insult.
The outfits were a week late than the agreed date and despite having taken accurate measurement, they didn't fit. The tailor had mixed up the trousers of one outfit with the other and making one so baggy and one so very slim; both far too wrong as both outfits were for slim/medium sized women. The dresses were also very wrong; very tight with so many unwanted darts despite leaving clear instruction that they needed to be left loose.
The embroidery was left unfinished and there were bits of metal thread hanging all over the outfit that poked into the skin. So sadly had to abandon the outfit and wear an alternative for the wedding.
Green Street is full of shops with outfits half the price that are stunning and with free alteration service and very good service all round.
At this shop, there is plenty of charm when you enter the shop and we got duped. Please don't make the same mistake as us!!
