Ray Harris

RAY makes the most beautiful, rather dramatic, cleverly cut silk garments. I have got evening skirts,long and short, jackets with wrap around tails which can (if you've got slim legs = not me!) be worn as trousers, many camisoles and long, full, free flowing coats. All of these are in vibrant Indian colours which I mix - scarlet purple and pink, yellow with pink, black with deep red and orange etc. I never get tired of them and often, when I can't think what to wear - they come to my rescue - grand evenings at Covent Garden, summer garden dinners - guaranteed to look theatrical and impressive! or supper with friends - really comforatble to wear. Many actresses choose them for special events.
They are brilliant for packing. As they are meant to look creased/crumpled - they don't get spoilt - and are very light.
Ray will make things up for you - if you like an idea but he doesn't have it in the colour you want, you choose your silk from the roll and it will be made in no time.
To keep them fresh you wash in cold water by hand and then just do a loose knot in line with the pleats. then leave to dry naturally. Very very easy!
