Mango

Mango should review their policy of not allowing mums into changing rooms with their teenage daughters. I visited Mango on Oxford street yesterday, Friday 18th June 2010 at approx 3;15 second floor. My daughter chose 8 items which she wanted to try on but with a limit of five I took three, she took five and we proceeded to the same cubicle. The assistant followed us and said we could not share a cubicle. We could not get two free cubicles close to each other so I said I would stand outside my daughter's one. I was told this was also not allowed but as it was not busy she would let me do this. She then looked at my three items which were size 10, looked at me and told me she could get larger sizes for me. Aside from this being downright rude the whole incident spoiled what was a happy birthday shopping trip. We purchased a couple of items and carried on down the street to River Island where we were able to use the same cubicle and were not treated as if we were trying to steal goods. Needless to say we spent the majority of our birthday budget in River Island and I shall not visit Mango again and will advise all my other friends with teenage children of this ridiculous rule.
