Chi Chi Ra Ra

I have never been there and not come away with a smile on my face....... Sometimes with a purchase,sometimes not, but always a friendly welcome, great sounds unusually fitting with the clothes. Small and cosy,never felt under any obligation to buy, unbiased advise, reasonably priced. I feel like I've found a precious gem. It's an adventure into the unknown. All the pieces are lovingly sought, It's my 'go to' for special occasions, and just to be different. A unique shop, in a consumer world of high street overload.

Fabulous gem of a place. If you are into Vintage you must put this on your shopping route. You are likely to immediately see things you love. Beautifully presented. A place to spend a few minutes or a few hours.

This is a gem of a clothes shop. Heather really kmows her stuff when it come to clothes - the era, the style, the materials. Its all very heartwarming to see someone who is a real professional in this trade. She has a l loving interest in vintage clothes that seems to span back years. I know this cos I met her Mum in there - she too has a passion for lovely clothes accessories and glamor.

It presses all the right buutons- sartorial elegance chic or fun. Re-cycling, taking care of once someone else clothes (did they go dancing in this, did they meet the love of their life in this dress, did they dance at the Trocadero in the fifties in this skirt, did they celebrate the end of WW2 in this?)

And its a refreshing chance to buy stylish clothes in a shopping area not known for stylee dressing (judging by the clothes shops down the road)
