Went to get 2 new fitted door mats done. Took in old ones for them to use as templates. They measured and ordered them in - took 2 weeks. Went and collected the new mats and when I got home, they were both cut too small! Went back to explain this and was rudely told that they don’t guarantee exact sizes and they cut them roughly to size?! Wouldn’t allow return, refund or reorder so paid for something not fit for purpose!

Just want to say a huge thank you to all at Carpetman for laying the fake grass flooring at our nursery. The children and parents were so excited to see it. They all loved it, and the children love playing on it.

Avoid. Decent quality carpet but the fit was rushed, and very poorly done. Ended up doing 5 hrs of extra work myself to re glue all of the grippers, and paying an alternative fitter to redo. Some areas still have problems as the cut was so badly done. Still awaiting a refund for my time, they have promised numerous times but not given.
Go somewhere else!

Moved in to a new house and needed all our carpets removing and pulling up with the new carpets to be replaced! We went to the shop in Wandsworth and spoke to a guy called bobby i think - he was very helpful in finding the right choice of carpet for us to suit our budget and still retain the quality rather than the most expensive he could flog us! Then spoke to a guy called chris who was a very lively gentleman who put a date in place and ensured everything went to plan! Service with a smile was definitely what we got! And happy in our new house with our fanastic carpets at a great price! Couldnt of asked for more! And because we used him and recommended him to a friend they got 10% off there carpets too! Thanks To All the Guys who helped even the fitters that did a brilliant job!

I telephone on the off chance of booking someone to come along for a quote, as I needed a piece of vinyl flooring in the nursery. Bob was very helpful , he rang me back with a date and time. The work was carried out, everyone at Carpetman was brillant. Thank you.

Went in to Carpetman on Putney Bridge Road which is local to where I live. I selected a carpet that I liked. Got the telephone number of the shop and arranged for someone to came around and measure my spacious four bedroom home. The man who came around and provided the quote was friendly, helpful and polite. He gave me the price, just over £2,500, and I agreed. Went to the shop on Putney Bridge Road with £2,500 in my pocket (yes I know a lot of money to carry). Just before I handed over my money, I decided to have a quick look at the other carpets before I paid for the the one that I wanted. When I went to ask the man in the shop a question, I was surprised by his negative and dismissive attitude. In fact, I'm sorry to say, I found his behaviour to be rude and unhelpful. In the end, I walked out of the shop with the money in my pocket, and having wasted my time, I went to another business in Southfields where I purchased a better quality carpet, importantly I received a better service, for the same price. C

I'm not normally one for negative reviews, but I'm afraid the service offered by Carpet Man was not good. The carpets were fitted in a real hurry, and very badly - and the problems were then rectified (after several phone calls) very grudgingly and equally badly. You only expect to have your house carpeted once - make sure it isn't by them.

I contacted Carpetman after they did some work in our offices and got them to quote for carpeting our house. Really pleased with how they worked. They beat the other quote I had received quite comfortably and the fitters were excellent. Delighted! They ended up doing my next door neighbour too.

Used Carpetman to kit out our new place; carpets and wooden floors. Prices were keen but managed to squeeze them for a reasonable discount as we were doing the whole house. Dealt with Chris (who I think is the boss) - bit of a character but found him to be a pleasure to deal with. I'd recommend to others.
