About: House of Illustration is the UK's only public gallery dedicated solely to illustration, with a creative programme of exhibitions, talks and events.

The gallery was first opened in 2014 by Sir Quentin Blake, illustrator of the Roald Dahl books and so many more since. Located in the middle of the regenerated Kings Cross, come to see, learn about and enjoy illustration in all its forms.

The collection explores advertisements, animation, picture books, political cartoons, scientific drawings and fashion design, and most thing in between! A registered charity, House of Illustration identifies and promotes new illustration talent, commissions new work and has a pioneering illustrator-led education and outreach programme.
