And I also want to say THANKS to all of you for helping us get away to our first premiere! All the info in this forum was necessary when we decided on when to book plane tickets, and where to go on which time, etc.

As you can see in the film, we really had a great day, and finally got to gaze into Johnny Depps familiar eyes, in real life. Big dream come true. :cloud9:

What a great video Horizon! Wicked music too! I remember seeing you and taking photos. When I get new batteries for my camera I will post them. That is one hot Jack Sparrow by the way ;)

Er, what's this at 1:07?! People standing behind barriers where the disabled were supposed to go and where I got turned away from. Oh that's all right, they go by the time Johnny arrives lol.

You can't hear us down the scummy end (hehe) chanting, "Come down here, come down here!"

Haha! Love the end. "There's no place like London!" Classic

Thanks, Aly! Glad you enjoyed it ^^
Haha, I'm the Jack Sparrow ;P

Yes, noticed that with the barriers! Can't understand why they just didn't put up a sign or something!? Sooo not cool :nono:

just got back from seeing it, it's been an alice in wonderland filled day :)

As soon as the movie started you just KNEW it was tim burton, loved the music also, which was very 'danny elfman' (obviously lol)

It was 2 hours but it felt quite short, i also thought mia's accent was very good i was worried that it would sound too australian but you could be easily fooled.

loved the futterwhack, although i'm not sure i could do it.

My fave characters were the red queen and tweedle dee and dum, so funny.

The mad hatter scared me at first :scared:

It was everything i expected and more well done tim!

I want to know what the white queen had been taking? I love the cheshire cat and tim burton was right the madhatter was like a child friendly version of the exorcist at times. The very end bit after alice comes out of the rabbit hole was a bit too ficticious for me.

Ok, so visually, Alice in Wonderland was spectacular! The on going interaction between Alice & other real life characters and the CGI/animation was amazing! Very clever and very well done!

The story... nothing to shout about really. Typical "American Dream" scenario where the lead saves the day. Although I'm guessing it was in the Lewis Carrol original in which case, not strictly American. The best films for me are the ones that effect you emotionally. I thought this was going to do that, but it didn't. It was just purely for entertainment, which the characters achieved well and the visual effects.

I thought the casting was spot on! The voices worked really well with the characters. Mia was great, although to me it seemed like she was playing Alice younger than 19... Anne Hathaway really suprised me. I thought she was one of the best. I thought the character might have said more air headed things though, rather than just physicalise it by floating... The Twiddle's were the funniest I thought. You can so see Matt Lucas in them. Great stuff! Johnny was good of course. I think I need to start watching more films with other actors in though. Starting to see the same traits in all his characters and it isn't as entertaining anymore. Don't know why he had to put a scottish accent on when he got angry either... Although he was very good at it!

It's easy to forget with this one that it is a children's film afterall. Which would explain the zainy characters and the weak storyline. It's not easy to forget that it's a Burton film though! Very dark and downright freaky lol.

I rate this film *** :) I'll give it an extra * for the visuals!
