I feel sorry for the short chap, that's right in the eye line.

How did we get from Songs that mean something to David Bowie's costume assisted exaggerated genitals?

:smug:

When you're a kid, you don't notice it, but when you grow up it's RIGHT THERE!

At uni in film class I (and others) did a presentation on how you can make any frilm gay if you put it int he right context. We used the dong 'Dance Magic' as well as Labyrinth clips and clips form other films in this big montage to show what we meant. Blokes weren't keen on us suggesting that Fight Club (men rolling around with their shirts off) could be seen as homo-erotic...

A bit dated by Goerge Benson in your eyes its our song and the first dance at our wedding. Where ever we go and there is music my hubby always asks for it to be played.. ahhhhhh. The words are special.

Ahhhhhh.

We had an Enrique song as our first dance, chosen by the wife of course! That sounds even more lame now I've written it down :emb:

Awwww!!! :cloud9:

And an Enrique song doesn't sound lame for a first dance. It's really sweet!

That sounds interesting what you did for your film class Krunchie Frog.

But whenever I watch that movie-which is a lot!- :smug: I always remember that as a kid EVERYTIME we watched this movie my mum would always comment: "Those trousers are pretty tight aren't they?" Followed by "David Bowie could make me his slave anyday..." :speechless: So as a kid I noticed them ALL THE TIME! Even more nowadays.... :speechless: But if you think his trousers and sexual attitude was kinky enough for a kids film you should read the first draft script for Labyrinth-yes I am that much of a fan! :emb: -but in this first script there were orgies, tons of innuendos and a bed which Sarah lands in with Jareth.

Good to know we are not the only romantic fools about!! What dates us more is the fact the on the car journey from London to Berkshire it could take two hours as we only had an old ford escort that went about 20 miles an hour, so we would listen to a Randy Crawford tape as the player only played and rewound and it was stuck never to be removed. So we palyed her over and over..... AHHHHHHHHHH :emb: We have the cd now

From the album Celtic Heart 1993,the song is 'Voyage' sung by Christy Moore,my hubby played it for me for the first time 16yrs ago just after i had my 1st son and i cried and cried, it still has that effect on me, it is so meaningful to us
might not mean anything to others but have a listen

Round Are Way- Oasis

Reminds me of my first holiday abroad, cos I listened to a tape of the Knebworth gig almost non stop!

2 Rights Makes 1 Wrong- Mogwai

It will never touch you like the first time you hear it, but it was a big part of my life around uni.

Falling Away From Me- Korn

I was near the back of the floor at Wembley Area, with a good friend, they opened with this, Id just finished my last GCSE, hearing the intro takes me back.

King Wisp- Bent

Back to uni again, and the weeks where I wasnt in bed before 7am, staying up, doing things I shouldnt have been, but feeling...alive.

If You Don't, Don't- Jimmy Eat World
Sunshine Underground- Chemical Brothers

Both were on a tape an ex gave to me just after I broke up with her, Chemical Brothers was smooth and sad, JEW had tears in my eyes because I think it said everything she wanted to say to me.
