I agree and don't understand why people don't eat meat but eat fish. Also I think the name is a pescetarian.

I tried being veggie a few years ago after being shown videos in school about how crappy the animals are treated and other stuff which really put me off but I only lasted a month! We have the worlds greatest chicken and chip shop down the road it's suprising I lasted that long.

If it wasn't so hard I would be one but I love spag bowl too much for it to work out and although I love vegetables I can't find many meals to make out of them. I only really eat chicken though. Sometimes beef but that's about it. I only like fish from the chippy. Looking at them fresh in the shops really creeps me out. They stare at me :confused2:

Ok ok... let´s see

You think, to be a real veggie you don't eat any meat. I accept that. But as I told you there are different types and of course different reasons why people don't eat meat/dairy products etc.
I decided not to eat meat (but fish) because I think "real meat" is disgusting.. I don't like the smell, the taste or the thought of eating sth which has done "moo" before...

Btw: What about gummi bear? There's sth in it which is called gelatine and it´s of cows! So I don't think every veggies is that strict...

I'm a vegetarian :)

I stopped eating meat but still ate fish for a while & now i don't eat meat or fish.

To be honest its not because i'm an animal lover or anything like that.
I stopped eating sausages cos the grizzly bits in it made me feel sick.
I hate the smell of mince or steak cooking & i do think of a animal when i see my husband frying his steak :vomit:
The fish..... well i found some bones in my fish quite a few time & that really put me off.

Not eating meat or fish doesn't mean i have no foods to eat or that my food is boring. I love Quorn products & normally eat them with veg .... not too keen on pasta so don't eat much of that.

Maybe if i found something nasty in chocolate i'd be put off of that as well  .... that would be good for my figure :smug:

And your not a vegetarian if you eat fish ;)

Mmm... Steak

yeah gristly bits in plop meat like sausages and burgers aren't good. Puts me off too. But not enough to put me off forever :D

Seems that meat just isn't to your taste mostly then. Interestinnng.

I am also a vegetarian but its really because of the same reaasons as Daisy... I just dont particulary like meat or fish so tend not to eat it but if somebosy has gone to lots of efforts to cook something for me (such as a friend) and it has meat in, I wont turn it down because i would feel quite rude seen as though my vegetarianism isnt because of moral reasons....

But yea i agree with you, vegtarians dont eat fish..
