Not been great this year has it? Is it just me or is Christmas TV not as good as it used to be?

For the first time in a very long time, I havn't watched hardly any TV this Chrimble. I'm glad to read you say (ha, read you say! ;) ) that it was pants. I did record Tamara Drew, a couple of Morecambe and Wise programmes and Marley and Me though! God bless Sky+ !!!!!!

They're both going to do amazingly... she does have a great voice and the Americans love that type of singer, but he is so unique and has a story and life-experience to back up his vocals, so I'm quite excited about hearing what his album will be like.

The best thing I watched was Great Expectations.
Excellent bit of drama with some great acting from Gillian Anderson and Ray Winstone.

I didn't watch the American X Factor. For some reason it doesn't appeal to me as much as the UK X Factor does. Even though the talent is far better in the US.

Yeah same here, I just can't get excited about the US stuff. Not as connected to it somehow.

There's something a bit more distant about the American stuff, reckon it's the glossy production and overly positive judges, it's somehow less real.

yes and leona is still a better winner than kelly clarkson and melanie alvaro..although simon wants to make melanie similar to leona GOOD LUCK lol
