All In London
Trying to reverse the effect of the Christmas Quality Streets here at All In London... well, some of us are anyway; and so I'm finding this show great motivation.

Anyone else watching this?

I'm really starting to like purple team. To start off I thought they were lazy and disrespectful and all the things that we're supposed to think about young people these days but as the weeks have gone on I think they're quite funny. I do like the way they say it as it is.

This week one lad had to read out a letter from home, and one of the purple team said "If he cries I'm gonna laugh at him." ... and fair play, she did.

Amazing isn't it? I know some people lose control and get up to big weights but some of those people are beyond belief.

I guess we should feel sorry for them really, as it's just a way of them dealing with other issues in their lives. Lots of people take anti-depressants as a cure for mental illness and that's invisible, lots of very overweight people eat as a release for their depression, and that is then so very visible...

I go between sympathy and the whole "come on.. it just takes a bit of will power" argument.. I'm in a sympathetic mood today

I should say! :)

Yeah, everyone's got a vice or an issue about something in their life. I guess this one is just particularly unfashionable. With everything so looks-obscessed in the world you're way more likely to get public approval for being a coke-head (I'm thinking Kate Moss or Frankie Cocozza) than you are for being a bit of a porker.

That said, there's surely a figure on the scales that makes you think "hang on, probably time to lose a couple of pounds" - maybe 20st!?!

:speechless:
