eejayo - what was it like compared to Leicester square? bigger venue? more space for fans to see stuff? Happy
Well, I was inside all day and didn't think there was a great deal of places to go. Half of one side was full of the press for a start. I don't think it was that long either, maybe 300 yards from the entrance to the dome to the stairs up to the cinema.
And afterwards when I went outside, I couldn't see any evidence of a huge crowd standing out there. There was a tunnel leading down one way which had a yellow carpet running down it, but if crowds were there and celebs walked down, it would only be wide enough for a one person deep crowd either side of the barriers.
Also, where some of the people waiting were, was in a different direction to where the escaltor to the cineama was, so loads of people missed out because the celebs just went to the TV reporter (Edith Bowman) on the corner and then straight up the stairs.
So, although i was in side (good for if it rains, not so good for quality of photos though) and couldn't really see what it was like utside, I think I preferred Leicester Square more.
I hope that helps!!
