Ah gutting! I really wanted to go, but was confused about where it was located as one website said one thing, and another said something different. But if I knew it wasn't going to be that crowded I would've been there in a flash :( I can't believe non of the cast or crew turned up :confused2: That's a bit bizzare... This whole prem was a bit odd to be honest. One, there was no certainty as to where the prem was being held. Two, it was on on the same day that the actually film was released :confused2: and three, non of the cast turned up! Odd...

eejayo - what was it like compared to Leicester square? bigger venue? more space for fans to see stuff? Happy

Well, I was inside all day and didn't think there was a great deal of places to go. Half of one side was full of the press for a start. I don't think it was that long either, maybe 300 yards from the entrance to the dome to the stairs up to the cinema.
And afterwards when I went outside, I couldn't see any evidence of a huge crowd standing out there. There was a tunnel leading down one way which had a yellow carpet running down it, but if crowds were there and celebs walked down, it would only be wide enough for a one person deep crowd either side of the barriers.

Also, where some of the people waiting were, was in a different direction to where the escaltor to the cineama was, so loads of people missed out because the celebs just went to the TV reporter (Edith Bowman) on the corner and then straight up the stairs.

So, although i was in side (good for if it rains, not so good for quality of photos though) and couldn't really see what it was like utside, I think I preferred Leicester Square more.

I hope that helps!!

They were probably worried that no one would actually know who they are until they start speaking! I was a bit sad they didn't go though, as I do know what they look like and have wanted to meet them for years. But there you go, never mind!! Hopefully there'll be a Simpsons Movie 2 (in another 4-5 years time!!)

Hey all,

Just to say we've put togather a review of the Simpsons Premiere at the O2 on Wednesday from all the reviews and images that were sent in from users (as you know our man-behind-the-lens DJ Pap couldn't make this one) and so this is a big thanks to everyone that sent stuff through to help us build the review.
In particular a bit thanks to eejayo and Ian Smith

Nice to see People Power in action!

Thanks a million everyone!

I'm fairly sure they didn't turn up cos the USA premiere was the night before..and it's a 10 hour flight form LA to London. I doubt only the dedicated would do that straight after a premiere to attend another with severe jet lag!!!

But if they were scheduled to do so, they would do it. I wonder what the real reason was that they didn't turn up. Intriguing as it is, I bet we'll never find out... :(
