I was just wondering if you was a Londoner thats all.
Loquax has a section for local comps, which people post.
We get the local papers & post the comps.
Some comps are quite good but one person keeps winning all the good ones lol.... makes me want to do this to him :bangin:

Mse is very slow so it does take me a while to get through the comps... which i must go & do. I think i'm about 10 pages behind now.
Luck for me that there isn't alot on the TV tonight so i can get some done whilst the kids are in bed.

As for Shoughmie.... that little Irish man is driving me nuts.
His clue was next to useless & he hasn't given out any more clues.

Surely its a little off that you are both 'compers' yet there was irritation on here when the results of the Friday Quiz were put on there.

Shouldnt competitions be left to those who want to win them, than those who just want to win something?

I only enter for things I want. And the irritation when the answers are put on MSE is just that. I dont mind the competition being posted, but it spoils the fun for those of us trying hard to get the answers if someone just gives them away

Yeah thats what I was referring to. MSE posted the link to the quiz plus the answers on here, and regular boarders were annoyed that people were just logging on with the answers without trying or contributing opn a regular basis.

My issue is when people, like you say, just enter every competition because they can. You see it in their signatures on the site, they post how they have won this and that this month, and I think "Why bother winning useless things?" Like I saw on there people going for free bottle openers. What are you gonna do with 5 of them?!

Anyhoo, rant over, and hopefully more info on finding the little beggar here soon!

An englishman, an australian and an irishman were in a pub, at the bar, and they had each ordered a pint of guinness.

the englishman finds a fly in his pint and says to the other two "i'm not having this, theres a fly in it" and pushes it away.

the australian finds a fly in his pint and simply scoops the fly out and flicks it away, and proceeds to drink his guiness.
