I am an 18-year-old boy who is planning on moving to London for 1 year, after I have finished High School in Denmark (summer 2010). The reason for the move, is to try to be on my own, playing music(!), working, and part time studying at (what i have looked into so far) The London music school. I know that it is really early for me to be planning the move and all that, but I'm really looking forward to it, and I'm just trying to gather some information...
I have a couple of questions...
- Are there any particular areas/places in London, where young people live and hang out? (The music school is near the Aldgate East Station)
- Is it difficult to get a job in london (such as a waiter at a coffee shop or something similar)?
- One of the main reasons for my move, is Music. So do you know any places/areas with a good music community or small venues?
-Do you know any good websites, with info about London, or websites with flats to rent for young people?
