Hi there,

The survey can be accessed here:

I am currently writing my disseration to complete my Masters in Communication at the University of Westminster. This is a social sciences degree that requires students to conduct communications-based research and report on the findings.

As part of my research I am conducting a survey and would really appreciate it if you would a.) complete it, and b.) forward it to as many of your friends, colleagues and contacts as possible - the more, the better. As I am sure you can appreciate, finding a large sample is really difficult, so I value any help you can give me. *The survey is web-based and should take only a few minutes to complete*. It is completely anonymous.

The survey can be accessed here:

In particular, if you could forward this survey to as many young people (18-25) and older people that would be great, though I do need a sample representative of all age groups so any contacts are valuable.

The subject of my research is: Did Web 2.0 Help to Globalise the 2008 American Presidential Election? If so, what effect did the globalised election have on the rest of the world?

The survey itself is very specific and you may find that you don't relate to many of the questions - but I ask that you please persist to the end even if some of your answers have to be "I don't know" or blank. The results are still very valuable to me even if you find you don't understand one or two of the questions.

I have also created a Facebook page that will act as a blog for anyone who would like to comment on the survey or the issues contained within it.

Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it!

kind regards,
Jennifer
