Hi, we're a gay couple from Israel, around 30yo. We're planning to visit London for about 8 days during the end of June- start of July. The plans are: general site-seeing, shopping, eating some good food, partying, go to the pride parade, and maybe go to a sauna once or twice…
We would like to have a recommendation about what area we should stay at, or even a recommendation for specific places. We plan to spend a lot of money (for us) on food, drink, shopping etc., so we don't mind saving on accommodation. We're open minded for any kind of accommodation, as long as the location is great, it is clean, quit and affordable,
Thnks!

Depends whether you're willing to travel a bit to get into central london or whether you'd prefer to be in the middle of it where you are staying. Obviously if you're willing to go further out you'll get much better value for money, but maybe that is off-set by higher travel costs?

I'd suggest somewhere like Bayswater - just next to Notting Hill and also Hyde Park - very walkable into central London (oxford street) but still a bit cheaper than say leicester sq or soho

Have a look at these - Bayswater is right on the edge of central london, still pretty lively but far enough out to be slightly better value for money..

Hope you have a great stay :)
