Hello everyone,

So, the weather's not great and it's a Monday morning. Did anyone do anything interesting over the weekend and want to tell us about it in an attempt to brighten up our morning?

Well i made some lovely chocolate muffins with a chocolate filling & some lovely icing on the top..... on friday so technically not the weekend.
Didn't try them myself as im on a diet :( but i gave them out to a few people & they all said they tasted amazing
That made my day

Also made a fantastic macaroni & cauliflower cheese on saturday which went down really well with the kids & hubby. Then i made a very moist & lovely lemon cake for my mum as she was in hospital on friday for an op on her knee.

Then for pudding yesterday i made a steamed treacle pudding......... i am informed that it tasted lovely.

Basically i do a lot of cooking

Now thinking about making chocolate chip cookies with my youngest as i'm bored.

I bought a puppy!

Well, agreed to buy one... we pick her up next Saturday.

Goodbye independence... goodbye doing anything I ever wanted to do spontaneously.

Puppy now..... baby next year ;)

Do we get to give name suggestions?

I so want a dog but we can't because my sons asthma is really bad.
Wouldn't want one of those big or nasty looking dogs just a ickly little one.

I'm really hungry now thanks Daisy, going to have to go and have some chocolate based food. :( :) :(

So you're getting a dog then QMB? Now you have an excuse to "work from home" even more than you already do.

If you guys worked anywhere near me i would bring you round some of my cakes & muffins. I'd love to cook all day but i haven't got enough people to eat all the food

What kind of dog is it QMB?
