So..... what are you all doing on Christmas day?

Visiting relatives? Having turkey & all the trimmings? Staying at home?
Not celebrating? Just you & your partner?

Is there anything you do every year?
ie: My mum would always make us have our breakfast, then change into new p'js so we looked nice for the photos Laughing

At home this Christmas. We've got family coming to stay with us. It's going to be a full house, unfortunately for me a full house of vegetarians :(

This Christmas I'm going to be waking up with my boyfriend  First time EVER I'm going to be away from my family on Christmas morning. We are then going to travel up north for Christmas lunch though. Yay! First time my boyfriend will be sharing Christmas day with the folks un all... eek! Serious. Lol. Then on Boxing day we are going to his parents in Boston (UK, not US... pitty, I know... that it's not in the US... lol :-? ). THEN I'm going back to my parents to then travel down to Bognor to visit my Grandparents. THEN back to Bristol to work on New Years Eve!!!!!! I know, but I get New Years Day off - YAY!

I used to get SO excited about Christmas. On Christmas Eve I would plan with my brothers what time I would wake them up. I was usually the first person to get up, then I'd have my breakie and then avoid the temptation of opening my stocking! We would always wait til everyone was downstairs before we opened our stockings. Then we'd have lunch... at about 3pm!! Then watch some TV (we pretty much did that all day) although when it came to opening more presents my folks would say to turn the TV off, as we needed to concentrate... :confused2: Lol! Then in the evening we would have snacks for tea, then open more pressies from family. Then bed. Lol. Ah, Christmas... :santa_cheesy:

My kids normally wake up at 5.30 - 6am on christmas day :Omg: :(
We normally make them have breakfast first & then they tend to open their present around the xmas tree at 7am.
We then get ready & go to the cemetery to visit Daisy, my dad & my niece.

This year hubby will be taking the kids to visit his sister who lives 2 mins from our house & then probably over to his mums (10 min drive).
I have volunteered myself for xmas day. I'm supposed to be going to h&f townhall to help them do xmas dinner for the old folk. I'm now unsure if i'll be able to do it as i got some... lets say 'not great news' at the hospital yesterday so not sure i'll be up to it come xmas day.
But we shall see, if i can make it i will go.

No xmas dinner on xmas day, probably do a 'mini' party type thing for the kids. I've invited my mum & brother round for xmas dinner.... on boxing day
Not that i will be cooking or eat it.
My husband does the cooking & i'm not that keen on roast dinners.

When we were younger we got presents in the morning & in the evening we would get a 'big' present.... oh how i loved the evenings

I now do this with my kids but this year i'm changing it & they'll get their big present on boxing day after their roast dinner.

I won two ps3 this years :santa_cheesy: ..... i know i could sell one but i don't like selling prizes. So i'm giving the spare one to my sons best friend. Have already checked its ok with his mum.... who used to be a close friend of mine when we were at school. She's over the moon & really chuffed that we thought about him.
