TMZ: '8 Mile,' 'Clueless' actress Brittany Murphy dead at 32

Celebrity Web site TMZ, which is credited with breaking the news of Michael Jackson's death, is reporting that actress Brittany Murphy has died.

The 32-year-old actress, probably best known for her role as Tai in "Clueless" but has a place in Detroiter's hearts for her role in "8 Mile," reportedly died, due to cardiac arrest.

According to TMZ, her husband called 911 from their California home this morning. Efforts to revive her were unsuccessful, the site reports.

So very sad. A very promising actress with a great voice who sadly gave in to the temptation of drugs so never recieved the stardom she deserved.
