Hey, Im moving to London next week and Im really excited about it! One problem though, the idea of travelling on a train underground scares the crap out of me! A friend of mine said i'd have to get over it if i wanted to live there because the buses take so much longer than the tube but i dont think thats gonna be happening anytime soon! So is she right? and do you have any advice for me? Im getting a little nervous now that its getting close!

There really is nothing to be worried about. The worst that happens is that in peak times they can get a bit crowded, which isn't pleasant in the summer.
The underground is a convenient and quick way to travel around London. I never get the bus in the centre of town - far too much traffic for me.
What is it that bothers you about it?
