Blocked

So after a few years of checking AIL on my lunchbreak, in my absence this week the powers that be have decided to block this site from my (and all staff's) computer (AND the other biker forum I check so it doesn't seem like a coincidence).

Now when I type in AIL's URL I get 'In accordance with *company name* policy this advertising link/site has been removed'... HMMM

Good thing I've still got my iPhone then isn't it you googly-eyed interfering old line manager.

Bit cheeky as I only ever go on this site in my free time and it has information about London and things. Which is a bit relevant to my employer actually.

Ah it seems they took away all my Internet access cause I've been abusing it apparantly.

Funny, cause when I'm not on my lunch break I use my iPhone to go online so they wouldn't come to that conclusion.

F*cking idiots.

It actually turns out that my backwards manager can't tell the difference between the intranet (our company's internal web stuff) and the Internet. However despite that I haven't been 'abusing' it, they don't want to give me net access back.
